Earn More This Festive Season with These Unique Tactics

The festive season is here already, and you can feel the vibe everywhere. From Thanksgiving to holiday celebrations, people are in a spending mood. Many businesses are already gearing up to capitalize on the increased consumer spending of the Yuletide season, some are already at it.

But with a plethora of businesses vying for customer attention this season with different traditional marketing strategies like Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales, the challenge is how you can make yours stand out and reap the maximum benefits of this lucrative season.

We've got a few unique ideas to keep you ahead while your competitors struggle for the little attention you will be leaving behind for them🤗.

1. Create a limited discount sale: Everyone loves a good deal, especially on their favourite products. This festive season, use the psychology of scarcity and urgency to increase your sales. Create a limited discount sale that is only available for a short time or for a limited number of customers. This will create a sense of exclusivity and FOMO (fear of missing out) among your potential buyers and motivate them to act fast before the offer runs out. You can also use countdown timers, stock indicators, or social proof to increase the perceived value and demand of your products and services.

2. Initiate a festive experience for your existing customers: Your existing customers are your best advocates. They can spread the word about your business without you asking them. But you need to give them a reason to do so. Create a festive experience that will strengthen your customers' relationship with your brand. To do this, personalize the customer journey with festive greetings, unique packaging, special deliveries, personalized follow-ups, or unexpected surprises. Consider gifting your most loyal customers their most frequently purchased products or services as a token of appreciation. This will make them feel special and appreciated, and they will be more likely to share their positive experience with others.

3. Host a giveaway: What's better than spreading the festive cheer? Hosting a giveaway! A giveaway is a great way to generate buzz, increase engagement, and grow your audience. Ask your audience on social media or your website to complete certain actions related to your products or services like sharing your product catalogues, tagging their friends to your page, or sharing their customer experience with your company with their audience. This is a great way to spawn user-generated content and increase brand engagement. You can also partner with other relevant businesses or influencers to cross-promote your giveaway and reach a wider audience. Make sure to offer a prize that is relevant to your niche and appealing to your target market.

4. Offer gift bundles: A curated gift bundle makes shopping easier for your brand's patrons this season. Combining popular products or offering discounts on bundles is a great way to increase average order value and encourage repeat purchases. You can also create themed bundles based on the occasion, the recipient, or the interest of your customers. For example, you can create a wellness bundle, a travel bundle, or a family bundle.

5. Partner with other businesses: Collaborate with complementary businesses to cross-promote each other's products or services. This is a great way to reach a wider audience and tap into new customer segments. You can also create joint offers, co-branded products, or referral programs. A good idea such as partnering with a local bakery to offer a free cake with every purchase of your product, or a partnership with an online platform to offer a discount code for their service is really worth it.
